Yo Tiemoko Yo Tiemoko is the Director General of the National Center for Agronomic Research (Centre National de Recherche Agronomique –CNRA) in Cote d’Ivoire. He studied at the University of Kassel in Germany, where he obtained a Master of Science in Agronomy and at the University of Rennes in France, where he obtained a PhD in Agricultural Engineering. Dr. Tiemoko joined the WARDA Board in March 2008 and currently serves on the Boards of CORAF/WECARD, the University of Abidjan and the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA), where he serves as Vice Chair. He was previously Scientific Director and Deputy Director General of CNRA before being appointed to the position of Director General. CNRA is a unique institution boasting private sector-Government of Cote d’Ivoire partnership and operating throughout Cote d’Ivoire through its five regional centers, 13 research stations and two central laboratories.
